The Delica 4 Lightweight is the knife that taught a generation what a modern pocket knife should be — and thirty-plus years on it is still the benchmark for a light, one-handed, clip-carry folder.
The blade is flat saber-ground VG-10: a Japanese stainless with a well-judged balance of edge retention, toughness and corrosion resistance that sharpens easily on ordinary stones. At 2.5 oz it genuinely disappears in a pocket, which is the whole point — the best knife is the one you actually have on you.
Black FRN scales carry Spyderco's Bi-Directional Texturing for grip, with skeletonised steel liners inside for rigidity. Back lock, four-position pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry on either side.
