We don’t stock everything. We stock the things we’d carry ourselves, from makers whose quality holds up over years rather than months — and we hold them in stock here in South Africa, not on a container somewhere.

WE Knife Co. is the parent company behind three of the knife brands on our shelves. Founded in Yangjiang, China, WE built its reputation on precision manufacturing — titanium frame locks, hand-finished bevels and tolerances that hold up against knives costing twice as much.
The WE line is the flagship: premium steels like M390, CPM 20CV and CPM S35VN, titanium handles, and collaborations with designers who normally work at the custom end of the market.
CIVIVI
Authorised dealer · Everyday carry
CIVIVI is WE’s everyday-carry line, and the range most South African buyers land on first. Same factory and same quality control as the WE line, built around workhorse steels like Nitro-V and 14C28N with G10, micarta and canvas handles.
The result is a knife that takes a beating and doesn’t hurt to replace — and CIVIVI’s design catalogue is genuinely enormous, so there’s a shape for every hand.

SENCUT is the entry point into the WE family. Simpler finishes and more affordable steels, but the same fit and finish coming off the same production floor.
If you’re buying your first proper folder, or you want something you genuinely won’t mind losing on a hunt, this is where to start.

Spyderco

If you own a modern folding knife, Spyderco shaped it. The round opening hole, the pocket clip, the serrated edge — all three came out of a small Colorado company that has been quietly rewriting the rules since 1976.
Our range spans the honest, affordable Tenacious right up to the Salt Series in CPM MagnaCut, built specifically for saltwater. In between sit the Para Military 2, the Delica, the Sage 5 and the Manix 2 — knives that people carry for decades rather than seasons.
Cold Steel

Cold Steel built its name on lock strength, and the Tri-Ad lock is still the benchmark for how much abuse a folding knife can take before something gives.
We carry the Recon M1 in CPM MagnaCut at the top end, the Mackinac Hunter for the field, and the Pro Lite for anyone who wants Cold Steel engineering without Cold Steel money.
CRKT

Columbia River Knife & Tool works with the best custom makers in the business — Kit Carson, Ken Onion and others — and turns their designs into knives ordinary people can actually afford.
The M16 has been in continuous production for decades, and the Drifter remains one of the best-value everyday carry folders anyone makes.
Kershaw
Imported · Assisted opening
Kershaw put assisted opening into everyday hands with SpeedSafe, and Ken Onion’s Blur and Leek are among the most carried knives ever made. Much of the range is still built in Oregon.
Honey Badger Knives
Hard use · Working knives
Honey Badger earns its place on the wall on its own terms. The Cross-Bolt range runs a sturdy button-style lock that opens and closes easily with either hand, grippy FRN or G10 scales, and a deep-carry clip.
These are working knives. The FRN models land under R1,000 and the 14C28N G10 versions step up the steel without stepping into collector territory. If you want a folder for the bakkie, the toolbox or the biltong board that you won’t feel precious about, start here.

Browning has been making hunting gear since 1878, and the knives follow the same brief: classic materials, sensible steels, and a look that suits a hunting pack rather than a tactical one. Sculpted wood, brass pins, 440C.

Bowies, stag lockbacks and wood-handled folders — the patterns your oupa carried, at prices that make them an easy gift. Brass bolsters, nail nicks and nylon belt sheaths, with no tactical pretensions anywhere.
Santa Fe Stoneworks

Since the 1970s, Santa Fe Stoneworks have been hand-inlaying natural stone and shell into production knives in New Mexico. Every panel is cut and fitted by hand, so no two knives come out the same.
We photograph these individually rather than using stock images — the knife you see is the knife you receive. A collector’s piece that still works.
Sharpening
DMT
Imported · Diamond abrasives
Diamond Machining Technology are the American diamond abrasive specialists, and diamond is the one abrasive that properly cuts modern powder steels. If you own an S30V, 20CV or MagnaCut blade, a ceramic sharpener will blunt itself against it — this is what maintains it instead.
The range runs from a pocket two-stage up to the GlidePro-Z, which carries separate angles for knives and for axes and machetes.
Lansky

Lansky have been sharpening knives since 1979, and the Blademedic is one of the most widely carried field sharpeners in the world. Carbide, ceramic, serrated ceramic and a fold-out diamond rod in something that disappears into a pocket.
Smith’s
Imported · Electric sharpeners
Smith’s have been making sharpening equipment in Arkansas since 1886. The electric range takes the technique out of it entirely — the machine holds the angle, you draw the blade through.

Noise damage is permanent and cumulative, and passive muffs leave you deaf to everything — including the range officer and the buck moving through the bush.
Walker’s electronic muffs amplify what’s around you and cut the gain the instant a shot goes off. The Razor’s slim cups sit clear of a rifle stock, which is why that shape became a range standard. We carry passive, electronic, Bluetooth and youth sizes.

Ledlenser build their torches in Solingen, the same German town that has been making blades for six hundred years. Their Advanced Focus System lets you shift from a wide flood to a tight spot with a twist of the head, and the build quality is what you’d expect from that address.
We carry the P18R and P7R Pro for serious output, the P7R and T2 25 Years Editions, and the H3.2 headlamp. Register your light with Ledlenser after purchase and the warranty runs to seven years instead of two.
Nebo

Nebo takes a different approach: rechargeable lights with genuinely useful features at prices that don’t make you nervous about using them properly. Magnetic bases, built-in power banks, glass breakers, tripod mounts.
The Luxtreme SL50 spotlight throws a beam 800 m down the road on twin 21700 cells. At the other end, the Torchy 2K puts 2,000 lumens in a torch that lives in your pocket, and the Mycro headlamps are small enough to forget you’re wearing.

KUGA

KUGA is a South African brand building insulated drinkware and cooler boxes for South African conditions — which mostly means keeping something cold in the back of a bakkie in January.
Vacuum-insulated stainless steel across the range, from the Pocket Flask up to the Outlander Max, plus the Africa Edition 50L cooler in a spread of colours. It’s the range we use ourselves on the braai and in the veld.
On how we source. We are an authorised South African dealer for WE Knife Co., CIVIVI, SENCUT and KUGA — which means that stock comes through official channels and carries full manufacturer warranty. Our Honey Badger, Ledlenser and Nebo stock is sourced through their South African distribution and carries the same.
Spyderco, Cold Steel, CRKT, Kershaw, Browning, Winchester, Santa Fe Stoneworks, DMT, Lansky, Smith’s, Walker’s and CAT we import directly ourselves, because there is either no South African agent for them or no depth of stock behind one. Every piece is genuine, bought from the manufacturer’s own wholesale distributor, and landed properly with duties paid. Warranty on these lines is handled by us here in Kempton Park rather than by a local agent — talk to us and we will sort it out.
