The M16 is CRKT's longest-running and most recognisable design, and the 02XD is the compact end of the family — here in a full coyote tan finish, handle and blade alike.
This one runs a tanto blade: a reinforced, angular point that concentrates mass exactly where a tip normally breaks. It is the shape to pick if you push a knife into things rather than just slicing with it.
A Kit Carson design, marked Carson Design on the handle. The skeletonised handle cutouts drop weight without losing rigidity, and the whole knife carries in a uniform tan that disappears against dry veld.
