The Delica has been in continuous production since 1990 and is one of the most recognised pocket knives in the world. This is the stainless steel handled version — the heavier, more substantial expression of the design.
Where the FRN Delica is built for lightness, the Stainless fills the hand with a solid handful of steel. Enthusiasts who dislike the hollow feel of polymer-handled folders tend to gravitate to this one. The flat, smooth handle surface also makes it the natural choice if you want a knife engraved or personalised.
The blade is hollow-ground VG-10, the Japanese cutlery stainless that made Spyderco's reputation in Seki-City: excellent edge retention, good corrosion resistance, and it sharpens back to hair-splitting on ordinary stones without a fight.
Back lock, four-position pocket clip, made in Japan.
