Zero Tolerance 0044 — Button Lock, Black Titanium

Zero Tolerance is Kai USA's premium, American-made brand, and its knives are built to a standard that most production folders do not attempt. The 0044 brings that quality into a compact, light everyday flipper with a button lock.

The 3.2-inch drop point blade is CPM S45VN with a black DLC coating. S45VN is Crucible's refinement of S35VN, with better corrosion resistance and excellent edge retention, and DLC (diamond-like carbon) is one of the hardest, most wear-resistant coatings available. The blade flips out on a ceramic KVT ball-bearing system — fast, smooth and consistent.

The black titanium handle has been weight-relieved with machined pockets to hold the total down to 96 g. Small details show the standard: a titanium button collar, a custom pivot, a teal-anodised titanium tube spacer and a reversible deep-carry clip in black Cerakote. Made in Tualatin, Oregon.
