Cold Steel Pro Lite Sport Clip Point — Black
Cold Steel's Pro Lite range exists to put the company's hard-use engineering into a knife that does not cost hard-use money. An Andrew Demko design.
The blade is German 4116 stainless — the same steel used across quality European kitchen cutlery. It is not a super steel and does not pretend to be: it resists rust well, takes a very keen edge, and sharpens back in minutes on a basic stone. For a knife at this price that gets genuinely used, that is the right trade.
What you are really paying for is the lock. The Tri-Ad lock is Cold Steel's own reinforced backlock, and it is the strongest thing on the market at anywhere near this money. Textured glass-filled nylon scales, a stonewashed blade that hides scratches, and a reversible stainless pocket clip. Made in Taiwan.
