Finish

Designed by Gerd A. Müller in 1966, the LAMY 2000 is the pen that defined modern German writing-instrument design, and it is still made in Heidelberg today. The body is either fibreglass-reinforced Makrolon with a fine brushed texture, or solid brushed stainless steel for extra weight in the hand.

Underneath the clean lines sits a proper piston filler with an ink window, so you fill straight from the bottle and always know how much ink is left. The 14 ct gold nib is hooded and platinum-coated, smooth from the first line and built to last decades.
