The LAMY safari has been the go-to first fountain pen since 1980. Its tough ABS body shrugs off knocks, the triangular grip guides your fingers into a relaxed writing position, and the large wire clip holds on to a pocket, notebook or bag strap.
It comes with a blue LAMY T 10 cartridge fitted and takes the LAMY Z 28 converter if you would rather fill from a bottle. The polished steel nib is easy to swap if you want to try a different line width later.
