Olight i3E EOS — 90 Lumen AAA Torch, Palm Breeze

Sometimes the simplest torch is the best one. The i3E EOS runs on a single AAA battery — the kind you can buy at any garage shop in the country — so it is always ready to go, and it is a perfect backup light for the glovebox, the cubby, a handbag or a child's school bag.

Twist the head and it gives you 90 lumens with a 44 m beam through a Luxeon TX LED and an optical TIR lens that produces a clean, even beam. That is plenty for walking, reading, finding things in a dark cupboard or checking the car at night.

The aluminium body is IPX8 waterproof and impact resistant to 1.5 m, and a key grip ring clips it to your keys. At under 20 g, in a fresh Palm Breeze colour, it is an easy, affordable add-on or stocking filler. A AAA battery is included.
