Spyderco Tenacious R.I.L. — Titanium Frame Lock
The Tenacious is one of Spyderco's best-selling knives — a dependable, well-priced everyday folder. The R.I.L. version takes that proven blade and puts it in a solid titanium handle with a Reeve Integral Lock, the frame-lock design pioneered by Chris Reeve, where part of the handle itself springs across to lock the blade open.
Titanium is strong, light and warm in the hand, and it wears in beautifully with use. The integral lock is extremely secure, simple to operate one-handed, and there are no liners or scales to come loose. It turns an entry-level knife into something that feels much more premium in the pocket.
The 3.35-inch blade is 8Cr13MoV, flat ground in Spyderco's broad drop point shape with jimping on the spine for thumb control. It is a forgiving, rust-resistant steel that sharpens back in minutes. Trademark Round Hole opening and a four-position clip.
Choose gray titanium, blue anodised titanium, or blue titanium with a black-coated blade.
